Back in the Saddle : Ruth’s Continuing Diary of a Novice

So, 2014 saw me get on a saddle for the first time since I plummeted from a bike to the bottom of a silty canal 15 years ago with my new baby securely attached and blowing bubbles behind me. As a novice I entered a new world and vowed that 30 Days of Biking was a first step into a new sport that would see me leaner, fitter, more tightly toned, gliding on two wheels to my place of work and beyond on a regular basis. Has any of this happened? What is my novice status now? Have I progressed? Find out on 1st April as we start out whole new blog for 30 Days of Biking 2015.

(PS For those of you that weirdly like to read the back page of a novel first the answer to all those questions is no)

(PPS for those of you new to my blog – the baby survived by the way – although he is now a scuba diver not a cyclist)
