Feeling a bit tender from all this bike stuff (plus a tumble on yesterday’s ride), I took it easy today. A short ride, and a trip to #cyclerecycle in Hebden Bridge. New, used Mavik rim, cheaper than ebay, all checked out by the them plus a nice chat. Really great Guys.

We have loads of great bike shops around here, and I visited Blazing Saddles yesterday & CycleRecycle today – 2 very different places. . Cycle Recycle take donated bikes, fix them up beautifully and sell them on, whilst training young people up to be fully skilled bike mechanics. What’s not to like?!  Blazing Saddles sell new bikes, mainly top end, and are such a great bunch of guys who just know what’s what and are straight down the line. . As previously said in this blog – find yourself a great local bike shop and never look back!
