Emma – Day 5 – To the Polocini Cafe

With a free Friday and some good company a trip over to the Polocini Cafe was in order . As is my way, I’d chosen the more scenic (hilly) route over. We climbed Cragg Vale, Saddleworth Moor, Isle of Skye to Holmfirth and finally Holme Moss. the descent being blocked by some amazing snow drifts. We met another friend at the top who was our guide into Romiley.

The Polocini cafe is fab, we’ll worth a visit. They run a selection of events too across the year. The food was great, the coffee was great and we received a lovely warm welcome. What more could you want….oh yes a giant TV playing out previous Spring Classic races. Jerseys and pictures adorn the walls, there’s even pictures of the pro peloton taking a wee in the toilet. Genius!top snowdrift food
